Theodore Shih

Managing Partner

Theodore C. Shih is the managing partner and founder of Shih IP Law Group, PLLC. Mr. Shih’s practice is focused on patent application preparation and prosecution in matters in the electrical and software arts including wireless and wired communication networks, semiconductor devices, optics, digital rights management, AV signal compression and encoding, various computer and printer related technologies, medical imaging – Positron Emission Tomography Scanner (PET), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Prior to founding Shih IP Law Group, PLLC, Mr. Shih was a shareholder at a IP law firm in Alexandria, VA.  Further, Mr. Shih is a former patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and examined applications in the biomedical arts relating to optical devices. Mr. Shih is fluent in conversational Chinese (Mandarin).
